Delicious steakhouse in Toledo. Definitely comparable to Mancy’s , The Chop House and Benchmark. Unique and delicious cocktails

The Standard is a true Toledo Gem! My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary and had an amazing dinner. From the service, to the ambiance, food, and drinks A. The cook even came out and gave us a champagne toast for our anniversary! I had the Shrimp Adobo, delicious....my husband had the pierogi fall special, and we shared the feta appetizer, all incredible. The drinks did not disappoint either. I had the Smokey Brine and Sangria while my husband had the Ancho Problem, all unique and good. A must try if you want something unique in Toledo.

What a great first experience. Very attentive waitress who was well versed on the menu. The French Onion was very delicious and rich. The veal Parmesan was tender and flavorful. The drinks were strong & made perfectly. We got the cream brulee which had just a whisper of grapefruit in the custard which made it unique. We will be back.

Great dinner with the wife and friends. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The smoked olive martini was . We ordered pretty much every appetizer and each one was unique and savory. I ordered the 20oz Ribeye blackened / medium rare on the bone. It was cooked perfectly and was extremely tender and juicy. The butter, roasted garlic, and truffle sauce made it even better. For dessert I ordered the sticky pudding with ice cream. Everyone else who tried at the table was surprised a pudding would taste so good. Would love to eat here again.

The 2 of us snuck in at 600 on a Saturday with no reservation hoping to squeeze in at the bar or pick up a cancelled reservation later. They said the wait was 2 hours. We laughed and said we'd wait at the bar, our bad for not planning ahead, but we hadn't been there and had been meaning to try it, so we took a shot in the dark. The gentlemen making the seating arrangements said "give me 15 minutes, I think I can get you at that 4 top over there". Little did we know it was right next to the window where they put out the food for the servers and the owner was camped out there for the dinner rush. He stopped by our table to introduced himself and came back multiple times to help us choose from all the amazing options on the menu. He even came back and did a quick drink with us as a toast to our first time. We got the pan fried feta, which was not what I expected in the best way possible, the Lamb Chops and the Pork Chop. Everything was perfectly cooked. The drinks were divine the food was sinfully good. The staff were amazing. The place was packed for the duration of our stay but the servers were on top of everything. They were attentive and food was served in a shockingly timely and organized manner despite how busy it was. Toledo has some fine restaurants but this one is probably now my top pick of all of them.

A Toledo Treasure! The Standard has quickly become our go-to spot for any and all family celebrations! The food is absolutely delicious, with vibrant flavors and beautifully crafted dishes. The ambience strikes the perfect balance of upscale yet casual, making it ideal for any occasion. Most importantly, the staff make every visit special with their genuine hospitality. Their passion truly elevates the experience. The Standard is a fantastic addition to the Toledo restaurant scene, and I can't recommend it enough!

What a gem of a place we have here in Toledo! I went this Monday for a dinner meeting and had the most amazing Veal Parmesan. The food and service was so great that I went back on Thursday bringing my son who was home from college. The service was incredible. The wait for the food was not long and oh did I tell you the best fried pickles I have ever had as an app. Didn’t finish my meal because I wanted to save room for dessert and that was the right call! Salted Caramel pudding cake with vanilla ice cream is worth every calorie. I am so incredibly grateful that I finally found a restaurant in Toledo that I can say is absolutely perfect!

The Standard sets the standard for 5-star dining in Toledo. Situated in a non-descript strip mall, we entered an intimate dining space that felt cozy and sexy and recalled some of my favorite spots in Salt Lake City. Our server, Kim, set the tone for the evening with her kind and knowledgeable approach. We ordered cocktails from a creative drink list; I got the Smokey Olive which was less smokey but still delicious. My husband got the Rosemary's Blush, which was tasty and complex with a charred sprig of rosemary. We started our meal with the mussels and the crab cake. The crabcake was huge and succulent and would be a perfect shareable with 2 or 4 people. The mussels were plump and tender and the broth was flavorful and delicious. Our entrees were the highlight of the meal. My husband had the 16oz ribeye cooked medium rare with peppercorn crust and the mushrooms and onions. I had the lamb chops, medium rare, and they absolutely melted in my mouth. The kitchen is partially open and the bar is beautiful, so you can enjoy the theatrics of a well-operating kitchen and bar, which is always a thrill for me. Kim was an excellent server and made great recommendations on wine and menu items. We felt very cared for and will most definitely be back soon. As a SLC native, it's been hard to find good dining here that remind me of the excellent food back home. But The Standard blew me away. Can't wait to try everything else on the menu. Cheers!
